Make a cross, have a say!

From 15.01. to 23.01.2024 it's that time again.

The students of the University of Göttingen will elect their representatives at faculty and university level. Click here to see our candidates.

The ADW is once again hoping for your trust in non-partisan, service-oriented and objective student representation.

You can find a quick overview of the election program in our demands and goals for 2024.

You can find the 79 best reasons to vote for us in the picture gallery.

And you can read the whole thing in the long version, with more information and background, in the new ADW Info.

Of course you can also watch our old election commercial for a bit of nostalgia:

This year's university elections start on 17th January. To mark the occasion, we want to give you a closer look at our day-to-day work. Accompany Henrik through the service landscape of the ADW.

We at the ADW are a non-partisan and service-orientated university group. For us, the optimal study conditions for our fellow students are at the centre of our work. In order to achieve this goal, we represent your interests in various committees. We have been the WiWi student representatives for many years and support you throughout your studies. In order to continue our successful work, we need your vote in this year's university elections.

THE BALLOT PAPERS AT A GLANCE

Voting will take place online again this year. However, the votes are the same as in previous years.

Fachschaftsparlament (FSP)

The FSP of our faculty has a total of 21 seats and is elected by all students of the faculty. The FSP in turn elects the Student Representative Council (FSR). You can find an overview of what we have achieved in the FSR this year in the online ADW-Info.

Fakultätsrat (FakRat)

The Faculty Council decides on all important faculty matters such as examination regulations and appointment procedures. In addition to the two student members, the Faculty Council comprises seven professors, two members of academic staff and two members of technical and administrative staff.

Click here for the current Faculty Council.

Studierendenparlament (StuPa)

The StuPa is the highest decision-making body of the students. It elects the AStA and decides on the student body's budget.

The StuPa 2023 will comprise 57 seats.

Here you can find the official website of the StuPa.

Senat

The Senate is composed in the same way as the Faculty Council, but is responsible for the entire university.

It elects the Presidential Board and decides on fundamental university issues.

You can find more information about the Senate here.

Urabstimmungen zu den Semestertickets

This year, the rail semester ticket is also up for a vote again. You can vote on the culture, train and bus semester tickets.

You can find more information about the ballot here

Fachgruppensprecher:innen

Each subject group (Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science and Business Education) elects its own representatives. These representatives are particularly committed to their respective subject groups within the student council.
